Wedding celebrant Jesse Burford has stepped to the other side of the altar, suiting up as a groom for Married at First Sight Australia 2023.
Jesse is just one in a string of picture-perfect newlyweds unveiled as part of the marriage experiment’s tenth season.
The Perth-based beau also works as an MC, reportedly hosting events such as bingo nights, business galas, and *checks notes* yup, adult strip shows.
Jesse’s hosting gig complements his musical career entrenched in the metalcore scene.
He currently tours as a guitarist with Reins and, according to the Daily Mail Australia, has been a musician since he was 11 years old.
Friends told the publication that the Western Australian is a “really fun guy”, which means he’ll defs be an asset to the dinner parties!
They added that Jesse is “super chilled, considerate, honest and down to earth”. Oh, and he’s mates with 2021 bride Booka Nile!
However, trailers for the latest season revealed that the groom has more than a few standards that his new gal needs to adhere to.

In a promo released in December 2022, Jesse confessed he has a list of things to steer clear of when it comes to dating.
“I actually brought a list,” he explained, unveiling it from his pocket.
According to the groom, his “turnoffs” include women who are “addicted to their phone” and those who spruik “motivational quotes”.
Being “vanilla, basic [and] boring” are also big no-nos.
He continued: “[Those who] don’t listen and don’t even let you speak… Star sign chicks, drama queens [and] chicks who pout.”
So, no pressure, hey?!
Elsewhere, Jesse confessed he didn’t “know where love has been hiding all these years”, and may we suggest checking under that big f*ck-off list of standards?!
Breaking down, he continued: “I dunno what more I can do to make my light any easier for love to find.”
