Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2022 suitor Marty Birdsall has been spilling his guts about Farmer Paige Marsh, and mate, please — we haven’t made it through a week’s worth of episodes yet!
During the season’s second episode on September 5, the 36-year-old was one of four partners the Cassilis farmer picked to explore relationships with.
However, fans quickly dubbed him “Mr Red Flag” after he told Paige he was likelier to bet on horses than to ride one. And now, it seems there’s another red handkerchief he can add to his collection.
One fan of the show dished in the So Dramatic! Communi-TEA Facebook group on September 5 that she recently met Marty IRL — and the reviews ain’t great.
“He didn’t hold back talking about the show,” the viewer penned. “He said he wasn’t really into Paige, and nor were any of the other guys.” Ouch!
The source added that Marty confessed he “got to the point where he didn’t really want to be there anymore”.
As such, he and producers “concocted a story to get him off the show”.
What’s more, Marty allegedly disclosed that “he hooked up with another farmer’s girl”. And please, God, no. We’re having flashbacks to last season! (But also, if you have any tea about this, please slide into the DMs!)
Producers Have Already Been Called Out for Cheeky Antics On Farmer Wants a Wife
Fake departures aside, So Dramatic! recently revealed that Farmer Wants a Wife producers were up to some no-good antics from the get-go.
As reported in episode 209 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an on-set source revealed that producers had taken a rather unusual route to make the 2022 season scandal-free.
Producers had planted moles during the first night of filming to weed out any possible troublemakers.
According to the source, the fake contestants (so much better than fake farmers) ensured the men and women were there for “the right seasons”.
“The fakes were really obvious,” they added.
However, since Marty has allegedly been rolling in the hay with another farmer’s partner already, we’d say this tactic didn’t work too well!
