It seems Beauty and the Geek 2022 winner Karly Fisher was born to be a reality star, with the Beauty revealing she was once scouted for Love Island Australia.

The 30-year-old became a quick fan favourite when BATG hit screens this year, all thanks to her vivacious personality and special bond with her Geek and “soulmate”, Aaron Seeto.

While the opposites-attract series has a romantic element to it, Karly and Aaron’s relationship proved to be strictly platonic. However, had she been cast on Nine’s other famous dating show, it could’ve been a whole other story!

During an Instagram Q&A on August 25, one fan asked Karly if she’d ever try her hand at Love Island.

“You’d be amazing on there,” the follower added.

It was then that the reality babe dished that she’d been “contacted for it prior to BATG“.

“The answer is no, not for me,” she confessed. Damn!

“In saying that — I fkn [sic] love watching it and I become very emotionally invested,” Karly continued, expressing her love for the “UK season just gone”.

Karly Fisher Isn’t the Only Beauty and the Geek 2022 Star to Consider Love Island Australia

Karly’s co-star and another beloved BATG beauty, Aimee Woolley, also recently voiced her interest in Love Island Australia.

Aimee didn’t manage to find love on BATG with her Geek Jayden Darcy, but it sounds like she’s hoping for a few more on-screen smooches.

During an Instagram Q&A on August 16, a fan asked Aimee whether she would consider applying for Love Island Australia.

“Haha should I,” Aimee replied while sharing a mirror selfie.

Fans seemingly loved the idea, with her Q&A quickly flooded with questions about her appearing on the show.

“You would be so funny on Love Island,” another fan wrote. Aimee replied: “Haha Mabz one day [sic]”.

A third asked: “Can u apply to Love Island?”. The Tassie-based reality star then promised the fan that she would apply “one day soon”.
