Touted as the most “salacious” series to hit Aussie screens, we’re guessing you want to get in on all of the action going down on Heartbreak Island Australia 2022, right?
Based on the New Zealand format of the same name, the sexy show follows a bunch of hot AF “Heartbreakers” from Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US as they battle for love and money on a Fijian Island.
The show is exclusively available to stream on 7plus, with spicy new episodes dropping every Thursday.
Like similar dating shows, Heartbreak Island sees stars couple up and compete in challenges to ensure their safety in the competition. They can also win the chance to stay or stray from their baes — A.K.A “Passion Plays”.
During these events, contestants can a) stay with their partner, b) stray to someone else on the island or c) play to bring in “Disruptors” — which are akin to Love Island‘s “Bombshells”.
As you can imagine, things get very complicated very fast, which is just how we like it! Bring on the drah-mah!
However, finding a bae isn’t the be all or end all of Heartbreak Island.
As the numbers begin to dwindle, so will loyalties, romances and allies. After all, there is $100,000 in prize money up for grabs.
Heartbreak Island Australia Is Full of Big Personalities
No reality show is worth watching without a bunch of yuge personalities, and Heartbreak Island delivers that in spades!
Lead fearlessly by (hot AF) host Clint Randell, the Heartbreakers include professional footballers, mailmen, models, and tradies all hoping to have the time of their lives.
There are also a couple of OnlyFans creators in the mix too, plus a few social media influencers — because what’s reality TV if not a quest for a blue tick?
