After the premiere of Masked Singer Australia, fans are already sick of Dave “Hughesy” Hughes’ terrible guesses, with many wishing he left the show along with former judges Dannii Minogue, Jackie “O” Henderson and Urzila Carlson.
Viewers quickly took to Twitter on August 7 to share their least favourite part of Masked Singer Australia, with many feeling as though Hughesy’s bizarre guesses just weren’t cutting it anymore.
Since the show’s Australian inception, the radio host has subjected viewers to an onslaught of ridiculous guesses, and it sounds like fans are bloody tired of it.
During the premiere episode, the Aussie media staple guessed everybody from Stevie Nicks to Dido and honestly, we would like to extend our personal apologies to both icons.
There was even a brutal onslaught of tweets wishing that Channel 10 had switched Hughesy with one of the former judges.
It comes after speculation the three former judges left because they weren’t offered a pay rise, rather than to spend more time with their families (as Hughesy suggested and spoke about on the show).
Masked Singer Australia Fans are Already Loving Mel B After She Told Hughesy to “P*ss Off”
Meanwhile, Masked Singer Australia fans were already sharing their love for new judge Mel “B” Brown for telling Hughesy to “p*ss off“.
While she was just joking around with him after he suggested he was the “captain of the crew”, it seemed to echo some fans’ sentiments about the comedian.
