Despite rumours of a fallout, Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Brent Vitiello has confessed that he and co-star Al Perkins are still going strong in their bromance.
Fans speculated that the bros were no longer best buds after the duo appeared to be spending quite some time apart in recent weeks.
However, the 33-year-old dished to So Dramatic! that the best romance to come out of MAFS 2022 is still alive and thriving.
In fact, Brent says their time apart has less to do with their friendship and more to do with their management firm, THE.mgmt.
“Contractually, Al can’t be involved in Brent and Al (for now) but we are very much still godfather and godson.”
The bros launched their shared social media page post-show and used it to share their shenanigans with fans, but there have been no new developments since July 5.
Brent also shared a snap of him and Al to his Instagram Story on July 31, further cementing that the pair are still “brothers for life”.
In a chat with Yahoo! Lifestyle, Brent admitted that there has been some drama occurring behind closed doors.
So, what’s the tea?
Why Did Married at First Sight‘s Brent Vitiello Leave THE.mgmt?
According to the Married at First Sight fan-favourite, his decision to part with the agency was due to differing views.
“[Management] and me saw things differently and had different views on the direction I want to go. [sic],” Brent told So Dramatic!.
“Things weren’t working out. I’m now a free agent and still going strong.”
Having changed his business contact on Instagram to his personal email address, fans are left questioning what this means for Brent and Al’s joint collaborations.
The update comes just weeks after the pair revealed that they were launching a hoodie collaboration with streetwear brand, Valianu.
However, Brent says the launch is still going ahead as planned.
“Our hoodies are in Australia and once they clear customs, we will get them out to the public… together I may add,” he spilled to So Dramatic!.
The entrepreneur added that the hoodies are named “The Shoey” and “The Final Vow”, in honour of their time in the marriage experiment.
