It’s Beauty and the Geek Australia 2022 Christmas A.K.A MAKEOVERS, BABY!

On July 20, we witnessed the very first Geek of the season Mike Gambaro get a brand new lewk, followed by an epic make-over for challenge winner Christopher Mattiske on July 25, and then FOUR makeovers for the remaining Geeks on August 1.

Undoubtedly the most wholesome and best part of BATG is seeing the confidence that these men wear when walking out. But the best part is the way the group rallies around their cast mates!

Jason Mihalopoulos

On August 1, Jason received what has to have been the best makeover of the season!

“I’ve changed a lot since I stepped onto that battlefield all those weeks ago,” Jason said before his epic new look was revealed, citing that Emily McCarthy was the reason that he had come such a long way.

Who even is this guy?!

Aaron Seeto

Over at So Dramatic! HQ, we are the biggest Aaron stan.

The Geek has undoubtedly shown the most growth during the experience and the once only train-focused guy is set to live his BEST LYFE following the show.

“Let’s do this. It’s time for a change,” Aaron said referring to stepping out on the Battlefield during the very first episode.

“This Aaron has grown so so much, but most importantly, I’ve come to work on my confidence,” he added. And confidence he now has!

“This journey has taught me that I am worthy and that I’m desirable!”

We ADORE you, Aaron!

Anthony Farah

“I’ve come so far since I jumped from the train,” Anthony said of his experience in the second episode. “The old Anthony would have absolutely backed out.

“This whole experience just tells you to celebrate who you are and celebrate all your quirks.” Love this for him!

Michael Gebicki

“Coming into this experience I was trying to round myself out and be more attractive to women,” Michael said before his look was unveiled.

Tara [Schwarz] liked me for who I am, and it just gave me so much more confidence. It’s just been a wild ride,” he added.

Christopher Mattiske

Following his win with Beauty Bri Auty by his side, Christopher was sent to a virtual Jeff Lack for a makeover that left us going… UMM HELLO!!!

“The makeover has been a real deal for me because I’ve never seen anything other than the same thing everyday,” Christopher said before the big reveal.

“I’ve always been really insecure about my looks and I don’t really think of myself as being someone who is worth talking to.”

Even though it was the worst case of audio franken-editing you’ve ever heard, we got the point and the makeover left us floored!

Mike Gambaro

After winning the Today Extra challenge with their Beauty, Heidi Mitchell, Mike was whisked away to the hairdresser, tanning booth and HAWT stylist, Jeff.

“The makeover is such a big deal,” Mike said before the blessed event, before adding: “It’s going to help me move the mask.”

The mask he’s referring to was his beard (and literally a Batman one) that hid what he called “imperfections”.

“I was scared of change and the ability to look good? I can’t even think about it.”

Once revealed, erryone was gobsmacked. There were tears, squeals and “OH MY GAWWWDS” galore — and that was just from host Sophie Monk!
