Fans are convinced that Australian Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson has hinted at a future appearance on SAS Australia.
The 42-year-old may have headed up pup-centric reality show Pooch Perfect in 2021, but Rebel could be slated to star in the Special Forces series come 2023.
“Every struggle you go through will make you a better player,” the quote from the former soldier read. “That’s what growth is. That’s what life’s journey is all about. It’s about taking who you are and making you a better version of yourself.”
While we’d love to see Australia’s resident funny lady take on the military-style course, fans could be waiting a while to see Rebel on SAS Australia.
Why? Put simply, because Ant said so!
Ant Middleton Reveals Whether Rebel Wilson Will Take On SAS Australia
SAS Australia‘s Chief Instructor and Rebel actually starred in their own series on Channel 7 in 2021: Ant Middleton & Rebel Wilson: Straight Talking.
The series saw the duo “take on a journey of a lifetime across Mexico with only a 4×4, a backpack and each other’s company”.
The team-up also fuelled rumours that Rebel would join SAS Australia at the time, however, Ant doused any and all speculation.
“Rebel was a lot more hardcore than she gives herself credit for but SAS wouldn’t be the right course for her,” he told News.com.au. “Now that we are good friends, I love her way too much to be shouting at her!
“Plus, we are a team now… so she would probably tell me to f*ck off.”
