Big Brother Australia‘s Jaycee Edwards has shared some truly foul messages he has received from trolls after he was evicted from the 2022 Fan vs Faves season.

The musician shared a terrifying message he was sent on Instagram in late June, with the troll threatening to throw a large “brick” at Jaycee.

The keyboard warrior also told the Big Brother housemate to “die in a fire”, among other things too vile to publish.

Jaycee hit back by sharing a screenshot of the message to his Instagram stories, but took the higher road and censored the name of the troll.

Speaking to So Dramatic! on July 1, Jaycee admitted a lot of the trolling he received was because he chose to evict Anthony “Drew” Drew while he was Head of House on Big Brother.

“Let’s just say people weren’t happy with the Drew move,” Jaycee said.

“I might have some angry Drew fans coming to my show the next weekends [sic].”

More Big Brother Stars Have Opened Up About Trolls and Bullying

Big Brother Australia star Tully Smyth admitted she was terrified to return to the current season, after receiving death threats in 2013.

“I was petrified that history would repeat itself and I would be dealing with awful trolling and online bullying and hate,” Tully told WHO after she was evicted from Big Brother 2022.

“There was a Facebook group back in the day [called] ‘I hate Tully’ and it had 50,000 fans wanting to kill me, threatening my life. I was terrified.”

She told the Shameless podcast in 2019 that the production team had put her on a suicide watch after the show aired because they were concerned about the backlash.
