Lego Masters host Hamish Blake has admitted that he and wife Zoë Foster Blake do not have a “perfect” marriage, so, someone please hold us while we cry.

During an interview with (the cursed) The Sydney Morning Herald on June 20, the two-time Gold Logie winner revealed that married life is not all unicorn cakes and rainbows.

“Like anyone else, we have all the ups and downs that marriages have,” Hamish told the outlet.

While he insists that his life isn’t “perfect”, he does believe that “fun is held in high regard as a priority”.

“The only guiding philosophy I’ve ever had is it’s always worth trying to have fun with what you’re doing,” he said.

“If you’re applying effort to having fun and creating something, and trying to spread a good feeling around the world, that’s always effort well spent.”

Hamish Blake Owes Everything to His Gorgeous Family

Hamish and Zoë married in 2012 and have two adorable children, Sonny and Rudy — which he thanked during his Logie-winning speech.

“My beautiful wife, this is — you don’t get to stand up here unless you have amazing people behind you. You’re the most amazing of people,” the TV host said, before giving a “shout out” to his kids.

“You stole my look for tonight,” he said of Zoë. “I had to quickly find this [outfit]. Apart from that, I think you do it better anyway. Thank you, honey. And I would also like to thank you know, a little shout out to our kids.

“My kids are the favourite of all kids. They can’t be here. They got last-minute fake IDs and gone clubbing. But I know they will watch this tomorrow when I make them on YouTube.”
