Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022 competitor Vince Colosimo may be a decorated actor, but his career has been tainted by a slew of major scandals.
Prior to his fall from grace, the 56-year-old starred alongside a host of famous friends — including Willem Dafoe, Leonardo DiCaprio and Eric Bana — and made quite the name for himself in the film and television industries.
Arguably, he is best known for his starring role as real-life Melbourne gangster Alphonse Gangitano in Aussie TV drama Underbelly, for which he scored himself two Logie nominations.
However, it is not just Vince’s characters who have been up to no good. The actor himself has a string of arrests and high-profile scandals attached to his name.
Vince Colosimo’s Multiple Drug Driving Scandals
In April 2021, prior to filming for Celebrity Apprentice began, Vince was caught whilst driving under the influence of drugs.
Almost a year later in February 2022, he faced court and was charged with drug driving.
It was also alleged that Vince was driving without a license at the time of the interception.
This was the second time Vince faced a drug driving charge.
In 2017, the actor was fined after he was found guilty of driving whilst under the influence of methylamphetamine. He was also driving with a suspended licence, which was the third time he had been caught doing so.
Channel Nine representatives have maintained that the network had no knowledge of any of this whilst Vince was filming Celebrity Apprentice.
Vince Colosimo Was a Victim of Extortion
Vince was allegedly targeted by a con woman in October 2021. She reportedly threatened to ruin his career by telling media outlets he had been unfaithful to his wife unless she received $50,000.
The women reportedly made these threats to Vince’s long-term partner, Sabella Sugar.
Sabella has since been granted a two-year intervention order against the unnamed woman.
