It’s been revealed that Married at First Sight Australia‘s Johnny Balbuziente previously dated another reality star prior to his whirlwind romance with Kerry Knight.
Johnny quickly became a fan-favourite on MAFS 2021 after entering the experiment as an intruder with Kerry. The pair are still as loved up as ever, with some even dubbing them Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson 2.0.
However, in another twist in the tangled reality TV web, Johnny used to date Byron Baes bombshell Saskia Wotton.
As reported in episode 184 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one listener wrote in spilling the little-known tea.
“I went to school with Saskia from Byron Baes,” they said. “She used to date Johnny from season eight of MAFS, five or so years ago.”
They also provided receipts in the form of some old Facebook snaps (which we LOVE) and damn, were they a good looking couple!
However, with every unearthed reality TV connection, it’s looking less like a pyramid scheme and more like a cult!
This Isn’t the First Reality TV Crossover Had By Byron Baes
Married at First Sight isn’t the only reality TV show Netflix’s Byron Baes is connected to.
In fact, two stars from TWO separate shows were recruited to be part of the series, which focuses on the blue tick hub of Australia.
Yup, Bachelor franchise star Nathan Favro and Love Island‘s Elias Chigros both feature in the controversial series. And, it sounds like they pocketed a pretty penny for it, too!
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Nathan confessed that he was paid well for his stint on Byron Baes.
“We were paid handsomely, Netflix look after you,” the star said.
Instagram model Jade Kevin Foster added that the streaming giant was “very generous.”
