Married at First Sight Australia’s Olivia Frazer has revealed she asked for Domenica Calraco to be removed from the show because she felt “unsafe”.
“I was backed into a corner for weeks and I felt so unsafe ” the student-teacher said. “I requested for [Domenica] to be removed from the show and I was told that wasn’t going to happen [and] I was told a lot of things about that night that wasn’t even on camera.”
Olivia then went on to say that due to her portrayal on the show, people have been going up to her in bathrooms and calling her a “b*tch” to her face.
“Somebody came up to me on Saturday night, I was out on the Gold Coast with Tamara [Djordevic] and some lady came up and said, ‘If I smash my wine glass, will I get a reaction from you?'”
Jackson Reveals Olivia Is “Too Scared” To Leave The House
Jackson Lonie, who is currently married to the bride on the hit TV show, also revealed that Olivia was “too scared” to go get groceries.
“I’ve gotta take her to go grocery shopping because she doesn’t feel safe,” Jackson said.
He then added that if anyone wanted to get to know the “real” them, he would happily sit down with them and have a beer.
While in reality TV land, if you said it, you did it, Jackie O came to Olivia’s defence saying that she “has a bad edit.”
Clearly emotional, Olivia broke down and was unable to speak.
Olivia Feels That The Men are Held to a Different Standard
Olivia also mentioned that the men on Married at First Sight Australia are held to a different standard.
“The boys were told that if they so much as clenched a fist at each other they would be removed from the show no questions asked,” she said.
“Is that right? So, you think it’s different standards for males and females on this show?,” Kyle asked.
“I don’t know,” she said.
Jackson questioned: “Imagine if I smashed a glass, Kyle, what do you think would have happened?”
“Yeh, you’d be called a psycho,” Kyle added.
Married at First Sight’s Olivia “Owns” Her Behaviour
Elsewhere in the interview, Olivia admitted that she “owned” the behaviour shown on screen.
“I’m owning it. I feel like an absolute d*ckhead. I feel absolute remorse,” Olivia said.
