SAS Australia is back in all its muddy glory for 2022 and we’ve got the tea on exactly when the hit series begins.

The show made for some seriously intense viewing last year. While it may have been gruelling to watch (literally, the contestants nearly drowned multiple times FFS), we could not look away!

FYI, Ant Middleton‘s *words of wisdom* also make for some great gym motivation (I’m not throwing sand in anyone eye during pilates though, don’t worry).

Lucky for us (and my personal trainer), SAS Australia is back with a fresh crop of celebs eager to be put through their paces.

And trust us when we say that you’ll want to tune in for SAS Australia 2022 – it’s going to be a cracker!

When Does SAS Australia Begin?

Ready to be enlightened by DS Ant once again? Yes, Staff!

The brand new (and from what we have been told, drama-packed) season of SAS Australia will kick off on Monday, February 21 at 7.30pm.

The new season will, as usual, air on Channel Seven following the network’s broadcast of the 2022 Winter Olympics.

What Do We Know About The New Season Of SAS Australia?

The new season is shaping up to be just as intense as you would expect.

When you throw a bunch of celebs into literal army training, the results will — naturally — be pretty dramatic.

However, two of our fave Directing Staff (DS) will not be returning for the latest iteration of the Special Forces course.

While Chief Instructor Ant Middleton is back with DS Ollie Ollerton in tow, fan faves, Mark “Billy” Billingham and Jason “Foxy” Fox, will not be appearing.

Instead, two new DS will be joining the ranks and they are some serious superstars.

Making his first appearance on Aussie SAS soil is retired US Navy SEAL, Clint Emerson. Clint served 20 years as a Navy Seal in the US unit that took out Osama Bin Laden.

Accompanying Clint is former British Special Forces soldier Dean Stott, who also has some real famous connections.

“I served 16 years in the military and trained alongside Prince Harry,” Dean revealed in a trailer. “I’ve been trusted to protect his life.”
