The Bachelor Australia darling Anna Heinrich breaks down after being set on fire in an explosive new trailer for SAS Australia 2022.
Since walking away from The Bachelor‘s inaugural season with Tim Robards eight years ago, the 35-year-old has faced many milestones. However, we’re not sure there has been one as challenging as a Special Forces selection course… until now!
In an all-new sneak peek of the upcoming SAS Australia 2022, the mum-of-one can be seen on fire, escaping a car boot, and leaping from a speedboat into a helicopter.
Still, despite her obvious determination, Anna isn’t convinced the Australian public thinks she’ll see the course through.
“I don’t think the public will think I will go very far in this,” the reality star says in a voiceover. “I want to prove them wrong.”
In tackling the gruelling SAS course, she aims to show her one-year-old daughter Elle that she can do whatever she sets her mind to.

“If I tell her that she can do something, I want to believe it in myself,” she explains to the Directing Staff. “I would love to say I can do it.
“I don’t want to give up.”
Anna Heinrich’s Strict SAS Australia Training Regime
In December 2021, Anna and Tim revealed they’d been following an intense training regime in preparation for SAS Australia.
“We actually got out of the gym, because we wanted to try and replicate what she would go up against in the real world of SAS,” Tim told WHO.
“I was really trying to go, what will you be up against? Well, you’ll be carrying a backpack, climbing up things, there’s going to be cold and icy water, you’ll be out in the rain. All of those things.”
The 39-year-old also revealed that Anna had been “running the hills of Bellevue Hill with a backpack on”.
As for Tim? He was there every step of the way, trailing her with Elle in a pram.
When it came to their strict training, Anna confessed that she had to “[get] comfortable with being uncomfortable”.
Who Else Is On SAS Australia 2022?
Anna is one of 17 stars who will take on a set of physically and mentally draining challenges in the Aussie bush.
Joining her in the test of a lifetime is fellow Bachelor alumni Locky Gilbert, as well as former footballers Barry Hall and Wayne Carey.
Model and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Simone Holtznagel, filmmaker Paul Fenech and rugby star Millie Boyle will also appear.
He’ll be accompanied by returning DS Ollie Ollerton, as well as first-time staff Clint Emerson and Dean Stott.
SAS Australia 2022 will kick off in February.
