SAS Australia 2021 was by far one of the most engrossing TV events of the year and now, it’s back for 2022.
While Chief Instructor Ant Middleton is returning with DS (Directing Staff) Ollie Ollerton, two fan faves, Mark “Billy” Billingham and Jason “Foxy” Fox, will not be appearing.
Instead, two new DS will be joining the ranks and they are some serious superstars.
Who Are the New DS Joining SAS Australia 2022?
Making his first appearance on Australian soil is retired US Navy SEAL, Clint Emerson. Clint served 20 years as a Navy Seal in the US unit that took out Osama Bin Laden.
“We have a saying in Texas. Don’t mess with Texas,” Clint says in the new promo. “Meaning nothing will get in our way!”
Accompanying Clint is former British Special Forces soldier Dean Stott who also has some real famous connections.
“I served 16 years in the military and trained alongside Prince Harry,” Dean reveals. “I’ve been trusted to protect his life.”
What We Know About SAS Australia 2022: Welcome to the Jungle
Returning in 2022, SAS Australia will feature 17 brand new star recruits who have volunteered for the toughest test of their lives.
Through a series of physical and psychological tests from the real SAS selection process, these Aussie celebrities will be cut off from the outside world at an all-new base in unforgiving jungle terrain.
Bordered by wild seas, dramatic cliff faces and rugged rocky outcrops — this course is not for the faint-hearted.
