Big Brother’ VIPs Imogen Anthony has revealed that she walked away with “everything” after her split from KIISFM’s Kyle Sandilands.
In a candid Instagram story, the reality star revealed that while the relationship left her with “nothing” emotionally, she did get everything they owned together.
“When I say I left with nothing, or that I lost everything, I’m not talking about the materialistic side of things,” she admitted. “Because I got everything. He left with nothing.”
Imogen also revealed that after their break-up, her friend’s “true colours” really shone.
“I was lied to, betrayed, dogged. Man who cares anyway, all their boyfriends cheated on them anyway so I couldn’t give a f*ck,” she said. Ouch!
Later, Imogen admitted that she felt “used” by close people due to her relationship with the radio star.
“The media and stuff, they only cared about him, and it just kills me so much,” she said.
“I genuinely lost everything. I lost everything. So many people used me, and I just feel like, this was my comeback.”
Imogen Anthony Revealed She “Lost Everything” During An Episode of Big Brother VIP
During an episode of Big Brother VIP, the 30-year-old told her housemates that she felt like appearing on the show would be her “comeback”.
“I genuinely lost everything,” she said of her 2019 separation from Kyle, following eight years together. “So many people used me, and I just feel like, this was my comeback.”
She then compared herself to a “wounded animal”, telling her housemates that she had so much to prove in the competition in a bid to save herself from eviction.
“I think so many people doubted me and thought I was a one-trick pony. And I am not…at all. I save ponies!” the model exclaimed, referring to her conservation efforts with her chosen charity, Zambi Wildlife Retreat.
“That’s what I gave my life to,” she said. “It’s like the wounded animal theory, when you feel so wounded you just want to fix everything else around you.”
