The Bachelorette Australia 2021’s Konrad Bien-Stephen can add ‘role model’ to his resume after inspiring a young boy to continue wearing nail polish.
The fan-favourite from Brooke Blurton‘s season is a huge advocate of a painted nail, having rocked up to the mansion with his own fingertips adorned with bright colours.
Now, a fan has revealed that Konrad with a K is a “rad role model” for showing boys that painting nails isn’t “only for girls”.
The 31-year-old shared a screenshot of the heartwarming exchange to his Instagram story on Monday night.
Replying to a photo of Konrad’s painted nails, one mother said: “I showed my nine-year-old son this. He painted his nails and was worried he was going to get teased.”
She then confessed she showed her son “a few pics” of Konrad. “[I] said ‘see look how cool this bloke is and he paints his nails’!”
“We then practiced what he would say if anyone said anything,” she continued. According to her, the anticipated comments “revolved around why painting nails is only for girls”.
“Thanks for being a rad role model,” the mum concluded.
Judging by Konrad’s response, it’s clear that he was touched by the message.
“You just made my heart smile,” he admitted. “Your son sounds rad!” Awwww! We love to see it!

Since debuting on The Bachelorette, Konrad has stolen the hearts of guys and gals Australia-wide.
