Love Island Australia 2021 winner Tina Provis has spilled all of the behind-the-scenes goss from her time on the famed dating show.
It’s no secret that the 25-year-old and her villa bae-turned-real-life boyfriend, Mitch Hibberd, are loved up AF. Now, Tina has confessed further details about their relationship that we didn’t see on screen.
In an Instagram Q&A on Sunday, she blessed her followers with the nitty-gritty details from the villa, from her first impression of her AFL playing beau to whether the contestants keep the clothes they wear on the show.
Why Did Tina Provis Apply For Love Island Australia?
Tina revealed that the driving cause behind her Love Island application was the fact that her “love life had just been bad for years”.
“Especially last year, I just had the worst time and I didn’t want to go through that again,” she told her followers.
Adding that the “bar was so low”, the PR consultant said: “I was meeting the wrong people, or it was the right person, wrong time.
“I wasn’t clicking with anyone, so I thought, ‘Why not?'”

One follower asked the star whether she saw everyone naked in the villa, and TBH, we’d be lying if we said we hadn’t wondered the same thing!
Laughing, Tina confessed: “I’ve definitely seen all of the girls naked. I’ve seen all of their bits and pieces on a daily basis.”
She then joked that there are “no secrets between [them], given they’d have “a big communal shower” every “morning and night”.
What Was Tina Provis’ First Impression Of Mitch Hibberd?
The Love Island winner admitted that it was easy to get along with Mitch from the get-go.
“When we first sat down and had a proper conversation, my first thoughts were, ‘Wow, I actually want to have a conversation with this person.”
“It didn’t feel like it was hard work,” she said, adding: “I just wanted to be around him.”
Tina Provis Talks Mitch Hibberd’s Relationship With Emily Ward
When Emily Ward entered the villa as an intruder, she quickly set her sights on Mitch. Despite getting to know the bomb over a couple of emotional days, the Melbournian realised his heart was with Tina before the pair eventually recoupled.
On Sunday, one of Tina’s followers asked her whether she thinks “Emily would’ve got in between” the couple had she not left the show.
“I don’t think so,” Tina said, acknowledging that Emily “had to test out what was right for her”
“When the decision was made I feel like she was so respectful with it [sic].”
Additionally, someone else wondered if she still trusts her boyfriend after watching back his conversations with Emily.
According to the Love Island beauty, Mitch would actually fill her in on those chats!
“What actually didn’t get shown was, for the most part, Mitch actually kind of let me know what was going on in all of these conversations,” she confessed. “There wasn’t anything I didn’t know.”
Still, she admitted it “wasn’t nice to watch back”, however, she does trust her partner.

Asked whether she thought Mitch was a player upon first meeting, Tina confessed she thought he did alright when it comes to the ladies.
“I don’t know… just thought he probably does well for himself,” she said. “I didn’t think of it in a bad way, just like ‘Oh, he probably does well on a night out.'”
Is Tina Provis Still Friends With Ronni Krongold?
While some friendships have remained strong since leaving the villa, others have seemingly crumbled.
During his time on the show, Ronni Krongold and Tina were rather chummy, however, Tina has spilled that this is no longer the case.
“When I first came out of the villa, I had thought [we were still friends],” she said. “But obviously I’ve had a phone since then and you say things on the internet and they eventually come around so… Dunno.
“That might be a question you have to ask him.” Yikes!
While we’re not exactly sure what Ronni has said to rub Tina up the wrong way, but judging by her reaction we’re guessing it wasn’t very kind!
Is The Love Island Cast Allowed To Keep The Clothes They Wear On The Show?
Given Showpo was the series’ main sponsor this year, it’s no surprise the gals were constantly rocking the hottest outfits. But were they able to take the clothes home with them after the show?
One fan asked Tina the question on everyone’s mind, and yes, she did manage to nab a few of her favourite ‘fits.
“Showpo was the sponsor for Love Island this year and we got heaps of great pieces,” the reality star revealed. “I still have a couple [outfits] with me now that I was able to take.”
Yet while she reigned victorious in the outfit department, she also confessed she has no idea where most of her belongings are!
“Our dressing room got so chaotic that I walked out with like, half of my belongings… I don’t know where anything went.”

One cheeky fan asked Tina whether they slept “together for the first time on the day-bed that night”.
“Did Mitch and I sleep together for the first time on the day-bed that night?” she repeated before musing cheekily: “For the first time? No.” Oooh, saucy!
Tina Provis Talks Aaron Waters and Jess Velkovski’s Break-Up
When asked whether she was sad about her fellow Islanders Aaron Waters and Jess Velkovski breaking up, Tina said she was upset it didn’t last.
“It’s sad it didn’t work out,” she admitted. “I love them both, they’re both really great friends of mine.”
She also acknowledged that “if it’s not meant to be, it’s not meant to be” and she will “Support them wherever they wanna go within their lives [sic].”
The Love Island Lads’ Hair Maintenance
Because Americans are constantly in awe of us Aussies, one wrote into Tina’s Q&A with an absolute ripper of a question.
“American here — are some of the guys shaving their legs?” they asked. “I feel like they look hairless.”
Apparently, some of the guys in the villa have a bigger hair maintenance routine than we do!
“The ones that do [are] hairless,” Tina spilled. “[They] shave the legs, the balls, the chest.”
Comparing them to dolphins, she added: “They could go on one of those slippery dips and just slide through.”
Is Tina Provis In Love With Mitch Hibberd?
Despite this being the number one question on everyone’s lips, Tina remained coy about her true feelings for Mitch.
“Everyone’s asking me this… everyone’s asking me this,” she revealed.
While she remains tight-lipped on the subject, we’re just glad she found what she was looking for in Mitch!
