Ever wondered what a date card from The Bachelor Australia actually looks like after it’s been pulled from the envelope?
Never fret! Jimmy Nicholson‘s final pick Holly Kingston did us all a service by sharing a snap of one of her date cards on her Instagram stories on Thursday night.
“Let’s go take a hike,” the red and white note read, which was also stamped with Holly and Jimmy’s names.
“Wasn’t sure if this was a date card or if [Jimmy] was actually telling me to ‘take a hike’,” the 27-year-old Sydneysider captioned the photo.
TBH seeing a date card in the wild is just as exciting as cast members going rogue, because these days they don’t even show the cards being read out on-screen anymore!
In another Instagram story post, Holly also shared another sweet keepsake from her time on the show with her 89,000 followers.
The photo showed rose petals pressed between cardboard, which the marketing manager said became a ritual post-rose ceremony with fellow contestant Carlie Hodges.
“My girl [Carlie] and I carefully pressed out roses on our bedroom floor every morning after a rose ceremony,” she revealed, jokingly adding: “We clearly had a bit of time on our hands.”
Holly and Jimmy’s Brand New Love Shack
According to Holly, the sentimental Bachelor momentos were found while moving into a new love nest with her pilot boyfriend Jimmy, 31.
It was revealed in September that Jimmy had snapped up the beautiful $1.42 million North Bondi apartment for the newly minted couple after just one day on the market.
Still, some people think it’s a little odd they’ve shacked up after spending little time together in the real world.
“They said they only caught up three times because of COVID and I’m like, yeah, you FaceTime every day, that’s great,” she said.
“But there’s no way in hell you’d catch me moving in with a guy that I’ve hung out with three times in the real world.”
