Hold onto your wine glasses, because Married at First Sight is going to be back on our screens quicker than we can say “cheating scandal!”
We still haven’t recovered from the drama of last season, but with confirmation that filming of the 2022 season is already underway, we have restocked on popcorn and tea bags!
So Dramatic! has already revealed the first confirmed groom, Dubai based influencer Brett Vitiello and we can now also reveal that there is at least one same-sex couple on the new season, with two men set to tie the knot!
One listener of So Dramatic! with Megan Pustetto wrote in to the podcast, saying: “Someone from my work told me back in June that he would be leaving for Sydney to start filming a show in August. He said he was going to be on the next season of MAFS!
“He is very openly gay and said he had to answer all these questions about his ideal man, what would be his biggest turn offs etc,” they dished. “So looks like there will be at least one same sex couple next season. But after listening to your interviews with Liam [Cooper]….. I’m worried how they’re going to portray him.”
Channel Nine have released its promo for the new season, giving us the first glimpse of its new prisoners hoping to find love on the reality TV hit.
The network teased that the forthcoming season will feature “the most handsome new grooms and breathtaking new brides the series has ever hitched”.
