Rumours that Robert Irwin won’t be returning in 2025 to host I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia have been debunked.

As the 10th season of the competition drew to a close, Woman’s Day reported that the Australia Zoo heir was jumping ship to Channel Seven after using I’m a Celebrity as a launching pad into mainstream media.

However, these claims have since been dubbed “false” by news.com.au.

The outlet reported on April 24 that Robert has “already signed on” as Julia Morris‘ co-host for I’m a Celebrity 2025.

Moreover, a Channel Seven source told news.com.au that the network “hasn’t engaged in any discussions” with Robert.

Where did the rumours Robert Irwin won’t be returning to host I’m a Celebrity in 2025 come from?

It comes after it was reported that Robert’s mother, Terri Irwin, was the driving force behind his alleged exit from the Ten series.

“As Julia’s sidekick, the TV natural has delivered in spades. His easygoing and faultless live TV skills have won over the nation. But his career at Ten will only be short-lived,” a source told Woman’s Day.

“The Irwins are very smart when it comes to negotiations, all led by his mum, Terri. She and her son see I’m A Celeb as a great one-off job to raise his mainstream TV profile… and it has!”

Despite the falsities, we’re keen to see Robert in the South African jungle again next year!
