Sierah Swepstone says that she was “slut-shamed” by her TV husband, Billy Belcher, and production during her time on Married at First Sight Australia 2025.
During part three of her explosive tell-all on the So Dramatic! podcast, Sierah claimed she was given an overly sexualised edit during the series.
“My edit was very much focused on my body and the way that I looked,” she explained.
“Even the way that I walked into the Dinner Parties… The way the cameras zoomed in on me and the sultry music.”

Sierah asserted that this portrayal made it “easier” for producers to frame her as a “cheater“.
Sierah Swepstone recalls ‘uncomfortable’ massage scene with Billy Belcher on Married at First Sight
During the eye-opening interview, Sierah alleged that her husband, Billy, played a huge role in her objectification on the show.
During Intimacy Week on the show, Sierah organised a romantic massage date for herself and Billy.

However, the bride says he turned it into an “uncomfortable” moment that resulted in her being “slut-shamed” on national TV.
“It was just a really compromising situation for me already,” Sierah recalled.
“Billy just squirted that oil on me… he just did not take it seriously. It was just slapping it around and being a loudmouth.
“He did nothing to make sure I felt comfortable.”
Following the date, Billy told cameras that he felt “awkward” whilst giving his wife the massage, stating, “I don’t want horny Sierah to attack me later.”
However, Sierah emphasised that his narrative framed her as being “sexually aggressive” and a “slut”.
She also said that Billy would constantly blame his poor actions on her.
“It was like he was saying, ‘my behaviour is her fault, because she’s horny and she’s gonna try and f*ck me or be sexually aggressive,'” she highlighted.

Sierah went on to detail that during and after filming her husband “slut-shamed” her multiple times.
in particular, she referenced comments Billy made about her during the men’s Intimacy Workshop.
In the now infamous scene, Billy told expert Alessandra Rampolla and the other grooms that Sierah always “walks around naked”.
“He said it as if it were a bad thing,” she stated.
“He was like, ‘Sierah was just sat there with her legs spread open’.
“It’s derogatory for him to use that kind of language. It was putting a negative twist on what was going on… not celebrating me being liberal.”
She added: “I’m so sorry that I’m confident in my body.”
Not only that, but Sierah went on to assert that Billy’s claims – which he made in various interviews whilst the show was airing – that she “walked around the house naked” were not true.
Sierah Swepstone hits back at Billy Belcher’s claims he needs a “deep emotional connection” before intimacy
During the explosive interview, Sierah also hit back at Billy’s claims he needs to develop a “deep emotional connection” before being intimate with someone.
“It’s such a f*ck boy thing to say, seriously,” she retorted, before asking, “Was the emotional connection there on the second day?”
This is in reference to the fact the couple had slept together during their Honeymoon just two days into the experiment.
“You want me to open up to you… Yet you make me feel like I’m not allowed to be comfortable,” she said.
“This is the contradition… I’m not allowed to feel confident in my own skin, in my own home with my ‘husband’. Yet you want me to show you my deepest traumas?”
“That doesn’t add up. That makes no sense,” she pointed out, before calling Billy “a walking contradiction.”
Sierah Swepstone claims her ‘horny’ portrayal on Married at First Sight‘s came from husband Billy Belcher
During the chat, Sierah also declared that her overly sexualised edit on the show was a result of comments Billy made about her.
“Never were these words mine – that I was a sexual person – I never said that. That narrative came from Billy’s words and they used that,” she explained.
Sierah then took aim at the MAFS producers for going along with Billy’s derogatory depiction of her.
“My whole edit was so misogynistic and sexist,” Sierah stated. “They made me out to be a ‘slut’, and that made it easier to frame me as a cheater.“
It comes after Sierah revealed that the second time her and Billy were intimate (which she later referred to as a “drunken fumble”) was allegedly a non-consensual encounter.
