Since Love Island Australia 2021 wrapped up, many fans are left wondering if Jess Velkovski and Aaron Waters are still together.
In the season’s penultimate episode, the bleached blonde babes declared themselves “exclusive”. But despite being together for the majority of the show, it doesn’t seem like Jess and Aaron’s romance has continued outside the villa.
As reported in episode 128 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto detailed a number of reasons that indicate the pair has split.
Aaron Water’s Telling Instagram Post
After appearing in Love Island‘s finale with Jess, Aaron took to Instagram to announce his return to civilian life.
However, his villa bae didn’t make a single appearance in the series of snaps he posted.
“I’m BACK!” the 24-year-old announced. “What a crazy experience that was… I’m so glad I got to share it with such a great bunch of people and made some lifelong friends!”
It’s very telling that Aaron failed to mention Jess in the post’s caption too — he even went as far as to CROP her out of one of the photos, too! Ummm, rude!

Perhaps the most obvious sign of a relationship breakdown in the 21st century is unfollowing your bae on the ‘gram.
And yep, you guessed it, Jess and Aaron don’t follow each other on the app.
Seems a little strange for someone to not be following their partner, non?
Did Jess Velkovski Try To Steal The $50k Prize Money?
So Dramatic! previously reported that Love Island Australia 2021‘s finale wasn’t filmed live as originally advertised.
In fact, they allegedly filmed three separate endings for each couple. However, they only aired Mitch Hibberd and Tina Provis‘ victory after the public vote decided they were the fan favourites.
But what does this have to do with Jess and Aaron?
As we know, the winners are given the option to steal the $50,000 prize money for themselves or split it with their partner.
Apparently, Jess opted to keep the $50k for herself instead of splitting it with Aaron when they filmed their winning ending!
One fan posted the theory in the Love Island 2021 private Facebook group after seeing another post.
“I just saw a post of someone saying since they pre-recorded everything when it was Jess’ turn, she took the 50k instead of sharing it with Aaron which would explain why they are not following each other on IG [sic],”
They also added that Tayla Mellington, Chris Graudins and Michela Louis are the only Islanders who were at the finale who still follow Jess at the time of writing.
The user then suggested that perhaps the other Islanders unfollowed her after she *allegedly* tried to keep the cashola for herself!
Aaron Water’s Post-Show Hook Up
Another fan of Love Island wrote in the same Facebook group that Aaron hooked up with someone who isn’t Jess on a night out.
“Aaron went home with a blonde chick I know the other night,” they wrote. “Definitely has a type.” Yikes!
With this all but confirming the pair’s split, we guess we’ll just have to wait and see whether Jess and Aaron make any official statement on the matter!
