The Married at First Sight Australia 2025 reunion is finally upon us, and word on the street is, it’s spicy AF!!
The 12th season of the marriage experiment has been full of firsts, from exes being matched together to an all-new Final Test challenge that saw participants tempted with another compatible match.
As the experiment unfolded, so did a helluva lot of drama between couples and co-stars, and it’s all led to one thing: the long-awaited Reunion, which was filmed in November 2024.
So, what can we expect from the Married at First Sight 2025 Reunion?

While fans can expect the bulk of this year’s participants to show their faces at the Reunion, a few opted out of the explosive event.
According to previous So Dramatic! reports, Lauren Hall, Morena Farina, Tim Gromie, and Jake Luik all decided not to attend. And TBH, we don’t blame them!
These four MAFS participants faced their fair share of backlash, both on the show and online, so no wonder they didn’t want to subject themselves to even more scrutiny!!
But hey, it would’ve been nice for them to face the music…
Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice’s relationship is revealed at the Married at First Sight 2025 reunion
It’s MAFS 2025‘s worst-kept secret, being that bride Jacqui Burfoot said sayonara to TV husband Ryan Donnelly, only to shack up with intruder Clint Rice (who was matched with Lauren) post-show.
While the duo reportedly don’t arrive at the Reunion together, their shock romance is revealed during the night, as exclusively revealed in episode 463 of the So Dramatic! podcast.
“Clint and Jacqui rock up the Reunion and walk in together as a couple. Everyone was in total shock,” one contestant dished.
“It’s a full Jono and Ellie situation. Some of the cast already suspected they had recoupled because we found out Jacqui flew to Tasmania straight after filming, and then it came out that they had been texting during filming.”
Unsurprisingly, “warrior” Ryan “doesn’t take it well”.
“[He] has a go at Jacqui,” an inside source told the outlet. “He was intimidating her and calling her names, but Awhina [Rutene] stands up for the bride.”
Meanwhile, Billy Belcher confessed in episode 490 of the So Dramatic! podcast that Jacqui and Clint’s relationship “didn’t surprise [him]”.
“Whatever she does, I feel like it’s normal for Jacqui,” he laughed. “She’s something else.”
Clint Rice exposed for talking sh*t about Jamie Marinos in unaired Retreat moment
The Couples’ Retreat was home to a sh*t-ton of drama this season, namely a major argument that saw Jamie Marinos go head to head with Clint and Lauren over their behaviour.
The stoush completely divided the cast, with one insider telling So Dramatic! that “everyone started to think that Jamie was just trying to start drama”.
However, at the Reunion, the couple were outed for going HAM on their co-stars behind their backs, as reported in episode 483 of the So Dramatic! podcast.
“They played back all the horrible things they had been saying about them, so [Jamie] eventually gets validated,” the source said.
So, what was *actually* said?
Well, old mate Clint allegedly “called Jamie a ‘f*cking mole’ in one of his voxxies”.
“[The cast] had no idea he’d said it at the Retreat,” the insider continued.
In fact, what Clint and Lauren “had said in their voxxies and behind the scenes about everyone was even worse than the cast knew at this point”.
“They were left shocked when they found out the full extent of their nasty comments.”
Jacqui Burfoot calls out new boyfriend Clint Rice at the MAFS 2025 Reunion
Ahead of the MAFS 2025 Reunion, Jacqui expressed that she was “heartbroken” upon learning about Clint’s comments.
Taking to Instagram, she said: “No, I’m not okay with [Clint’s behaviour] and we had that conversation about it on air.
“I was heartbroken because Jamie was my biggest advocate throughout the whole experiment. It comes out at Reunion. Watch this space.”
