From Jacqui claiming Ryan’s beard wasn’t “manly” to crying because his man cave “reminded her of the elderly”, the controversial couple had one of the most bonkers Homestay experiences we’ve ever watched.
Things went from bad to worse when Ryan’s mates, Adam and Karla, ambushed Jacqui during a lunch from hell.

Speaking to the So Dramatic! podcast in episode 506, Jacqui revealed that her fight with Adam and Karla was more “scary” and “toxic” than what was aired.
“Ryan’s friends were literally worse than Adrian [Araouzou’s] friends,” Jacqui recalled.
“They cut the part out where Ryan’s mate literally got out of his seat and yelled at me. It was scary.”
She also admitted that Ryan refused to stand up for her when things escalated.
“This tells you he’s not a man. And he needs others to fight his battles,” she added. “Hardly a ‘warrior’ mentality… He’s gutless.”
