We have investigated whether Married at First Sight Australia 2025‘s Dave Hand is really a nice guy after his controversial edit.
From continually advocating for women and exposing bad behaviour to being raw and vulnerable, Dave started the season as a walking green flag.
However, viewers turned on Dave when he became cold and emotionless after Jamie Marinos confessed her love to him but he didn’t reciprocate it.
This caused Jamie and fans to question if Dave really was the nice guy everyone thought he was.
However, as revealed in episode 502 of the So Dramatic! podcast, we’ve gotten to the bottom of what Dave is like in real life.
Is Married at First Sight‘s Dave Hand a nice guy?
From production insiders to co-stars, friends and even former flings, many sources have told So Dramatic! that Dave is lovely IRL.
“I’ve known Dave personally for years and can vouch that he’s actually such a genuinely nice guy,” a source close to the groom dished.
“He has been single since his breakup with his ex and doesn’t sleep around. He’s not a player or a f*ckboy type at all. He’s actually pretty shy, especially around women. But he’s always treated women with heaps of respect.”
A second friend of Dave’s claimed that he really is a “Big Friendly Giant”.
“He’s such a genuine guy and is actually that nice, they said. “[How he is on TV is] exactly how he is in real life; he’s the best!”
