Parents, students, colleagues and mentors have spoken out about former primary school teacher and Married at First Sight Australia 2025 groom Tim Gromie, and things aren’t looking good.
ICYMI: As revealed in episode 446 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Tim’s groomsman, Luke, revealed that Tim had lost his teaching job due to starring on the marriage experiment.
The plot thickened in episode 455 when So Dramatic! discovered that Tim had been using several different aliases, from Tim Hall to Tim Andrews.
Since then, more shocking details about what Tim was like as a teacher have surfaced, and they’re petty concerning.
Married at First Sight’s Tim Gromie’s former students and their parents have revealed what he’s like as a teacher
As revealed in episode 458, the TV groom’s former students have spilled what he’s like as a teacher.
“I can confirm Tim was teaching with the name Tim Andrews at least as of 2015,” one source dished.
“He was my grade three teacher and left after a year since his contract wasn’t renewed because of multiple complaints about his teaching from parents, so I guess he’s been fired at least twice.”
A second source alleged that he “bullied a 7-year-old student” in a previous job, whilst a third claimed he “made up inappropriate nicknames for his students”.
Not only that, but another source told So Dramatic! that the 38-year-old allegedly “bullied” his students’ parents too.
An additional source also claimed a former colleague of Tim’s said he’s “not a nice human” and said his behaviour on screen couldn’t be blamed on the edit. Ouch.
