As the experiment‘s oldest couple this year, Tony, 53, and Morena, 57, already had a lot of fans backing their marriage the moment they appeared on-screen.
However, reports have suggested that things haven’t exactly been a happily ever after.

As revealed in episode 449 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Morena learned that Tony (who has been married twice before) was still legally wed to his ex-partner while on their honeymoon.
While this was “kind of a thing” between the duo, it wasn’t the reason their relationship came crashing down.
“Tony and Morena were actually pretty good for most of the experiment,” one source told host Megan Pustetto. “They did have some explosive arguments, though.”
According to a MAFS participant, Morena would constantly “throw [Tony’s] past marriage back in his face”.
This reportedly began to wear on the charter captain, even though he “tried really hard” to give their marriage a good shot.

As reported by Daily Mail Australia, Morena ditched MAFS 2025 after finding out on the honeymoon that Tony was still married.
Insiders told the outlet that the groom had separated from his long-term partner three years ago. Still, he never officially ended his marriage.
Despite this, he entered the experiment open to finding love.
One insider told the outlet that Morena’s TV wedding was “one of the best days of her life”. However, after Tony’s “bombshell confession”, things came “crashing down”, and she quit the show because of it.
This was a rebuttal to reports made by Yahoo Lifestyle, who alleged the bride had been KICKED OFF the show and “evicted” from the participants’ residences under “weird” circumstances.
