A Married at First Sight Australia 2025 bride has quit the show after discovering that her new groom was still married in real life.
ICYMI: Yahoo Lifestyle previously reported that next season’s “oldest” bride, Morena Farina, appeared to have been “axed” from the series after making a “very strange” public departure.
According to Daily Mail Australia, this wasn’t the case, as the mother-of-two chose to leave the experiment after learning that her match, Tony Mojanovski, was still married to his ex. Yikes.

Insiders told the outlet that the groom had separated from his long-term partner three years ago but never officially ended his marriage. Despite this, he entered the experiment open to finding love.
During his honeymoon, he shared his marital status with Morena, who was smitten with him before his admission.
“He said, ‘If I’m married, does that bother you?’,” a source close to Tony dished. “It was a mess from the start.
“Tony was upfront with production about his situation. He told them everything before the show started. But he still hoped the show would help him move on.’
Another insider claimed Morena’s TV wedding was “one of the best days of her life”, but after Tony’s “bombshell confession”, things came “crashing down”.
Married at First Sight 2025‘s Tony thought Morena would ‘help him’ REKINDLE things with his ex
Another source added that the duo’s relationship was doomed after Morena learned that her new hubby was still married.
“They never really could get past it,” they said. “She’d always tell him to go chase his wife. The whole cast was gobsmacked when they found out he was still married.”
To make matters worse, Tony hinted that he wanted to get back with his ex..
“He had this impression that Morena might help him rekindle things with his ex. He even asked the experts for advice on it. They were speechless,” the source continued. WTF?!
Why did Tony go on Married at First Sight 2025 if he wanted to get back with his ex?
Tony’s friends explained that he went on the show to ” move on” from his ex.
“‘He thought being on the show would help him move on. But when [the experts] started asking questions, it brought everything back up,” one of his mates said.
“Tony was saying things like, ‘Maybe I should get back with my wife’, almost as if he was looking for an excuse to end things with Morena.” Yikes.
Tony also thought that if he “came clean about his marriage”, everything would be “fine”.
“But he couldn’t handle it from the beginning. It got so bad that at one point, he wanted to tap out,” another friend added.
This whole ordeal sounds messy AF!
