Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023‘s Claire Saunders has shared heartbreaking family news after her split from Andrew Coleman.
On September 24, the mine truck driver took to her Instagram Story to tell her followers she had accidentally run over her dog, Moe.
“It’d have to be one of the most horrifying events of my life to date,” she wrote over a photo of Moe.
The reality star then shared that her pup was in a “serious” yet “stable” condition.
“I can’t even begin to explain the guilt and heartache I feel right now. Like, why didn’t I check on him?” she penned.
“My little dog has been the absolute light of my life the last few months. Some days, I wouldn’t have gotten out of bed if it wasn’t for him.” And we wish Moe a speedy recovery!
It comes after her ex-fiance Andrew confirmed he’d parted ways with Claire after teasing the pair had reunited since calling off their wedding.

The following day, Claire shared an update about Moe’s condition, claiming he had a “fractured pelvis” and a “small fracture on his spine”.
“I’m sick to my stomach knowing I’m responsible,” she wrote. “Thank you for all the lovely messages of support, but I feel like an absolute piece of sh*t.”
She also told her followers that Moe was experiencing “nerve damage to his bladder” due to the accident.
In a follow-up Story, she shared that her pup had peed, which meant he was on the mend. Great to hear!
