Married at First Sight Australia 2019‘s Jules Robinson has hit back at “nasty” trolls after sharing snaps from her nude pregnancy photoshoot.

ICYMI: Jules and her MAFS hubby-turned-IRL husband Cam Merchant are expecting their second child.

With the baby’s arrival imminent, Jules commemorated the “long road” of pregnancy with a stunning photoshoot that showcased her gorgeous bump.

After posting snaps of the shoot, online trolls took to the comment section to slam the 42-year-old’s decision to do it.

Photographer Deanna Gaynor, in tandem with Jules, hit back at the “unsupportive” commentary.

Jules Robinson’s photographer tells trolls to ‘keep your opinions to yourself’

In a collaboration Reel post with Jules, Deanna detailed how “disheartening” the backlash was.

“Dear trolls, especially the female ones. You should be ashamed of yourselves for your nasty comments,” she wrote over a picture of a pregnant Jules.

In the caption, the photographer wrote: “It’s disheartening to see that pregnant women would be trolled and bullied for capturing their beautiful journey and wanting to share that so others build the confidence to do the same.

“Being unsupportive and cruel doesn’t just hurt them; it reveals a lot about you. If belittling others makes you feel better, it’s time to reflect and seek help.”

She then responded to claims that she photoshopped Jules’ appearance, revealing that the MAFS bride “specifically asked” that there be no “skin retouching.”

“What you see is creative lighting, camera exposure and saturation and colour balance and temperature and aperture at play,” Deanna explained.

“I won’t accept her being bullied for this image. It’s simply disgraceful. This image is ART, and if you don’t like it, keep your opinions to yourself.”

What did Married at First Sight‘s Jules Robinson say about the trolling?

Taking to the comment section, Jules made light of the situation.

“What can I say… You’re that good… They think I’m airbrushed,” she wrote. “Thank you for having my back and standing up.”

The Instagram Reel shared by Deanna also included a series of icky comments about Jules’ shoot, such as “totally unnecessary, inappropriate and ridiculous”.

Another said it was “a bit too much”, while a third comment suggested the reality star was sharing the photos for attention.

Luckily, the good comments outweighed the bad ones.

“This is a beautiful piece of art,” one follower expressed. “I do not understand why people would be critical and negative.

“If you don’t like what you see, you don’t have to write anything, press unfollow!! Scroll on!” Well said!
