Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2024‘s Daisy Lamb has revealed how producers manipulated and “bullied” the cast during filming.
As reported by So Dramatic!, multiple FWAW contestants have come out with complaints of “bullying” and “emotional abuse” on set.
During part one of her tell-all on the So Dramatic! podcast, Daisy detailed how producers manipulated situations and mistreated the ladies on set.

Farmer Todd‘s friends didn’t appear to approve of Daisy when they met her on the show, telling Todd she was too “overpowering”, much like his ex.
However, Daisy revealed this wasn’t how the events unfolded in real life.
“I didn’t leave the conversation with Todd’s friends thinking they didn’t like me,” the reality star told host Megan Pustetto.
“After meeting them, I told the cameras that [Todd’s friends] were amazing, kind and lovely. But none of that got shown. And they received such a poor edit.”
“Our producer manipulated them,” the 28-year-old recalled. “Before that scene was filmed, our producer told them: ‘Daisy isn’t here for the right reasons. You need to get to the bottom of it. Is she here for social media or love?'”
And it all makes sense now!
At the same time, the producers were telling Daisy that Todd’s friends were going to grill her because they knew she had a “really great connection” with him.
“I was ready to be attacked… So we were pinned against each other from the get-go,” she added. “Kate (Todd’s friend) got manipulated, and words got put into her mouth.
“It was really sad watching it back. It’s awful to think we all got so easily manipulated at the time, thinking we were doing the right thing listening to our producer.”

Daisy, who’s previously spoken out about her bad edit, added that she felt “disrespected by production” after seeing how she was portrayed on the show.
“Production really did us dirty,” she said. “When all the heavy editing came out, I was upset that they decided to publicly drag our character and disrespect us that way.”
Elsewhere in her tell-all, Daisy admitted she was “not the person they portrayed on the show”.
“Anyone who’s met me and has had a conversation with me knows that’s not who I am,” she insisted. “There was an opportunity for such a good edit. I was respectful to the other girls and production. But Australia got the wrong idea.”

Daisy then claimed that producers “bullied” her co-star Ellen Dunger, who has spoken out about being portrayed as the “mute” on Todd’s farm.
“Producers cut Ellen out of everything. It was disgusting to see because she’s such a vibrant personality and so talkative,” Daisy recalled.
She then explained that producers “limited” Ellen’s time with Todd.
“During filming, Ellen would ask the producers for time with Todd, and they’d say: ‘Yeah, no worries’. But then they’d say: ‘Ah, we’re wrapping up filming for the night’, and she never got to talk to him,” she said.
During the episode, Daisy also exposed the producers for mistreating Ellen and disregarding her mental health.
“Ellen came to me a few times and said: ‘The producers are bullying me. They’re not helping me with my mental health side of things,” Daisy continued.
She explained that Ellen didn’t “see eye-to-eye” with the other ladies on Todd’s farm, and they were rude to her behind the scenes. Despite this, the producers offered no assistance.
“Ellen was struggling. She was questioning why she was still on the show, and she was having a hard time emotionally,” Daisy added.
“But [producers said] none of us were allowed to be around her. We got separated from her.”
Daisy exposes producers for focusing more on drama than love
Daisy then dragged the producers for “missing the mark” and focusing more on drama than real love stories.
“They must’ve been trying to do something new. But the most disappointing thing is that it’s worked,” she said.
“People are tuning in to watch the drama, even though others complain that it’s not real. It’s down the wrong path, and the ratings went through the roof.”
How accurate was the final edit on Farmer Wants a Wife?
Despite her edit, Daisy claimed that what we saw on-screen was 70 percent accurate and 30 percent fabricated.
“Nothing in reality television is ever going to be 100 per cent accurate. It’s not all there. My storyline was probably 50 per cent [accurate]. But for other couples, their whole story has been shown to a tee,” she dished.
