Dancing with the Star Australia 2024 finally has a start date and we are just shimmying with excitement!
After months of glitzy promos teasing the show’s star-studded lineup, we now know when the 21st (!!) season of the hit dancing competition will hit the small screen.
Channel Seven revealed the news on June 26, revealing to fans that Dancing with the Stars 2024 will kick off on Sunday, July 7 at 7 pm.
For those playing at home, that’s just a hop, skip and a cha-cha away!
The new season will see Dr Chris Brown join the show as Sonia Kruger‘s co-host, following Daryl Somers‘ departure.
Who is competing in Dancing with the Stars Australia 2024?
From singers and soldiers to actors and reality TV alumni, the cast of the sparkling new season is sure to knock your socks off.
SAS Australia Chief Instructor Ant Middleton is perhaps one of the top stars anticipated to take the stage.
Meanwhile, ex-AFL players Ben Cousins and Shane Crawford are trading their footy boots for dancing shoes.
MasterChef Australia‘s Hayden Quinn and Julie Goodwin are also competing this year. They last went head-to-head in MasterChef All-Stars back in 2021.
The lineup is rounded out by Home and Away‘s James Stewart, X Factor Australia‘s Samantha Jade and Gold Logie winner Lisa McCune.
Plus, Better Homes and Gardens presenter Adam Dovile, Olympian Nova Peris, fashion designer Nadia Bartel and comedian Nikki Osborne.
The celebs will compete to win the mirrorball trophy and a sh*t-ton of cash for their nominated charity.
