Another Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2024 contestant has gone rogue on social media to speak out about the edit she got on the show or lack thereof.

On May 16, Farmer Todd’s final pick, Daisy Lamb, hit back at claims she was too “overpowering” in a FWAW Facebook group, calling the editing “disappointing and disgraceful”.

On May 28, Ellen Dunger, another of Todd’s ladies, also came forward to slam her difficult time on the show.

Farmer Wants A Wife. What a whirlwind,” she wrote to Instagram. “Honestly, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done emotionally.

“Having people grill you to tears day-in, day-out for more than half an hour at a time on why your previous relationships have failed, whether you think you deserve love, etc., is not easy.”

The sports journalist recalled that by the time she left the farm, she only had enough energy to ride her horses because of how “drained” she was.

“Overall, do I regret doing it? No. But that also doesn’t mean I’m entirely overjoyed with it,” she added. “As sad as that all is, I proved how bloody resilient I am, and I’m proud of that.”

She finished by thanking fans for their support and for “[sending] emails complaining about [her] obvious omission from the edit.”

She also shared a screenshot of her post in a fan group on Facebook from May 14, in which she introduced herself as the “mute” from Todd’s farm, before urging viewers to “be kind”.

“It’s really nice to see people are watching with an open mind, and understanding the humans they see on screen are real people. Be kind. Everyone on there is someone’s sister, brother, daughter, son, etc.”

Farmer Wants a Wife producers are called out by 2024 contestants for ignoring ‘BULLYING’ complaints from cast

This comes as producers were accused of ignoring cast members’ complaints of “mistreatment” during filming.

“Several ladies sent production written complaints about how they were mistreated during filming. They didn’t respond to anyone,” one source told So Dramatic!.

“Complaints ranged from concerns about emotional abuse and manipulation from producers, and production ignoring mental health concerns of contestants, to instances of bullying that occurred during filming from production and among the cast,” they alleged.

They also took aim at the show’s editors for “inaccurate portrayals” that resulted in many contestants being “trolled online”.
