And as revealed in episode 378 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the lady in question is none other than Teegan!
Yep, the same Teegan who was accused of having a secret boyfriend IRL!
This isn’t the first time a farmer has prematurely left the show after finding The One. In 2023, Farmer Andrew left after finding love with Claire Saunders. And the pair are now engaged.
Production insider says Dean’s exit from Farmer Wants a Wife wasn’t as ‘WHOLESOME’ as it seemed
However, one insider told So Dramatic! that Dean’s exit from the show wasn’t as “wholesome” as it will appear when it goes to air.
“He didn’t really find love,” they dished. “All the girls on his farm threatened to leave the show, but it wasn’t shown.”
According to our source, Dean made “no effort” to get to know any of his ladies.
“It seemed as though he genuinely did not want [his ladies] there, and they were invading his space.” Yikes.
When the third-generation cattle and watermelon farmer chose to spend some alone time with Teegan after he discovered those secret BF rumours, all his girls “threatened to walk off the show together”.
“Producers quickly split [Dean and his girls] up and took their phones off them,” the insider spilled.
“They had to stay in separate AirBnBs while producers came up with the idea of creating a story of him falling in love with Teegan and leaving with her to explain why all his suitors were leaving the show.”
And who said Farmer Wants a Wife was drama-free?
Did Farmer Wants a Wife‘s Teegan have a secret boyfriend?
As we saw on-screen, Dean received an anonymous text revealing that Teegan had a secret boyfriend back home.
According to our source, Teegan was seeing someone before filming but ended it when she went on the show.
“I’m not 100 per cent sure if she had a secret boyfriend back home or not,” they said.
“When the girls confronted Teegan about it after the show, she said that the [anonymous] message came from a guy she was seeing before the show whom she had broken up with.” Interesting…
Farmer Wants a Wife’s Dean was allegedly planning on LEAVING the show with Bella
The insider then revealed that Dean was allegedly planning on leaving the show with Isabella Southwell after sparks flew on their 24-hour date.
“They had strong chemistry and a really great date together,” the insider shared. “They discussed leaving the show together then and there because of how strong their connection was.” OMG!
They added: “They kissed outside the pub, but it wasn’t shown. This is probably because it would’ve been confusing for viewers to see that and then what happened shortly afterwards.
“As soon as the other girls arrived at the farm, Dean totally changed and switched up his behaviour and quickly became obsessed with Teegan.”
Apparently, Dean “wouldn’t even acknowledge” the other women once Teegan arrived.
“Bella was really hurt because one minute, he was saying he wanted to leave the show with her and really liked her, and then the next, he was completely ignoring her. It was so bizarre. She was completely gaslit.”
