Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Brent Vitiello’s sea moss business, Mos x Daily, is facing bulk “scam” claims after numerous customers reported missing orders.

ICYMI: In 2023, Brent launched his latest venture, Mos x Daily, a nutrient-rich essence that claims to offer a wide range of health benefits.

The product claims to aid weight loss, reduce bloating, and improve sleep quality and gut health. It also claims to have anti-inflammatory properties and support muscles and joints.

The business also proudly claims to be “the only sea moss brand in the world that isn’t a drop shipping model” that sells sea moss in its “100% purest form.”

Mos x Daily has been promoted by several high-profile influencers, including Brent’s MAFS co-star Jack Millar.

Its website also features a bunch of five-star reviews from customers who highlighted their positive experiences with the company.

However, in recent months, Brent’s sea moss venture has copped complaints en masse from customers accusing Mos x Daily of “scamming” them.

Why do Mos x Daily customers believe they have been ‘scammed’?

As reported in episode 377 of the So Dramatic! podcast, many customers claimed they never received the products they purchased. Others said they weren’t offered refunds for the missing items.

As a result, Mos x Daily has received a barrage of one-star reviews on websites such as Thing Testing and Trustpilot. Complaints range from slamming shipping delays, poor customer service and problems with product packaging.

In their reviews, many disgruntled customers described the company as a “sham” and warned others not to purchase from them.

Several customers also noted that their emails were ignored, leaving them with no other option but to comment on the brand’s Instagram account.

However, they alleged that their comments were quickly deleted.

Disgruntled Mos x Daily customers share their experience with Brent Vitiello’s business

One customer named Zoe told So Dramatic! of her experience, claiming that “Brent’s Mos x Daily company are ripping people off”.

“I just ordered their product to try, and the communication has been non-existent,” she told host Megan Pustetto.

In screenshots supplied to So Dramatic!, Zoe DM’d the business on Instagram requesting details about Mos x Daily’s shipping times as she’d received no confirmation order.

The message and a subsequent message requesting the same information were seen by the company but were not replied to.

In follow-up DMs, Zoe said she had no further communication from the business about her order and requested they cancel it.

Customers STILL haven’t received items from Brent Viteillo’s sea moss company

Another customer named Jaci described the company as “a big old joke”, telling So Dramatic! in March that her products were shipped two months after her order was placed.

“Worst customer communication… Advised me to email for my enquiry, and I emailed twice and never got a response,” she said.

“Not to mention, in the two months between Instagram messages, they had actually deactivated their page, so they were non-contactable and seemingly unwilling to cancel an order and refund.”

She then supplied Instagram DMs she exchanged with Mos x Daily, in which they appeared to send “copy-paste” responses to the customer with no resolution.

In April, Jaci provided a further update to So Dramatic!, revealing that Mos x Daily advised via email that she would receive a refund, with no need to return the product.

“They’ve also been promoting their four-day shipping,” she said, noting that no refund was received, and there have been no shipping updates for weeks.

One customer was told Brent Vitiello’s sea moss business Mos x Daily ‘don’t offer refunds’

While Jaci was offered a refund, another angered customer, Meggie, was told otherwise.

She allegedly waited three months for her order before requesting a refund. However, she was then told that they don’t offer refunds.

An email from Mos x Daily read: “Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer refunds as a result of what we’re seeing with delays in postage as we pay for a next-day delivery service.

“We’re devastated this has occurred, and we want to offer you 25% off your next purchase. If the dates mentioned in the timeline don’t occur, we will happily refund you.”

The email continued: “We have full faith you’re going to love our moss. It truly is a game-changing product, and we’ve worked tirelessly to change our packaging so it arrives to you the way it should!

“Our new packaging is 100% travel safe, and we’re sure you’re going to love this health and wellness journey with mosxdaily! [sic]”
