Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Ash Galati has revealed his true feelings about his on-screen wife Madeleine Jevic and man, they’re brutal.
From crying over cows to getting “psychic downloads” at her wedding, Home and Away star-turned-medium Madeleine is one of the strangest contestants to ever step foot on MAFS.
And whilst he seemed enthusiastic about his wife on TV, Ash has spilled his true thoughts in a rogue AF interview with Daily Mail Australia.

According to the 33-year-old, Madeleine was “really good at turning it on when the cameras are on”.
However, Ash became sceptical when his wife revealed her past as an actress.
“I was like: ‘Is she genuine? Why is she on here? Is she acting?’ So it played into my doubts,” he confessed.
Ash later added that his wife’s on-screen portrayal was “absolutely as wild as [he] remembers [her being]” IRL.
“I think you need to be a patient type of guy if you’re going to work in a marriage with Madeleine,” he remarked.

The pest control worker also spilled the tea about why Madeleine improvised her wedding vows, revealing that the “producers didn’t give her her vows [because] they lost them”.
At the time, he thought her on-the-spot vows were “authentic and genuine”. However, upon reflection, he thought they were “a bit weird”.
“To be honest, at the wedding, it was like an out-of-body experience,” he explained. “Though my body was there, I wasn’t really picking up all the signals.”
This comes after Yahoo! Lifestyle revealed that Madeleine and Ash’s wedding was even crazier than it appeared on-screen — if that’s even possible!
