All-new The Voice Australia 2024 coaches Kate Miller-Heidke and LeAnn Rimes have hit back at critical fans online.
ICYMI: Channel Seven announced on February 7 that Kate, LeAnn and international superstar Adam Lambert have joined the hit singing competition.
The shakeup comes after it was revealed that Guy Sebastian would be the only long-term coach to return, with Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo going on tour and Rita Ora joining The Masked Singer US.
While we think the new batch of coaches is ICONIC (we mean, LeAnn Rimes’ Can’t Fight the Moonlight? Unmatched.), some The Voice viewers wanted to make it known that they had “no idea” who the new faces are.
Luckily, Kate and LeAnn took it in their stride, hitting back in the comment section of The Voice announcement.
“I don’t know half these people,” one person wrote, to which Kate jokingly replied: “Me either!”
When somebody questioned, “Who are the 2 blondes?”, Kate said: “The Veronicas.” LOL!
Meanwhile, when one viewer wanted to know who LeAnn was, the US singer simply commented: “Google.”
To another fan who said, “Those who can’t do, coach”, LeAnn replied: “And those who HAVE DONE… share.”
Honestly, we can’t wait for this energy once The Voice Australia 2024 hits the small screen.
The latest season goes into production this month, with the series set to air later in 2024.
