The Voice Australia is getting a shake-up, with Channel Seven revealing THREE new coaches for 2024.

ICYMI: The Daily Telegraph reported in late January that Aussie talent Guy Sebastian would be the only coach to return next season, with Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo going on tour and Rita Ora joining The Masked Singer America.

They then shared some whispers that were circulating about the replacement coaches. And it turns out they were right on the money!

Who are the new The Voice Australia 2024 coaches?

The news broke on February 7, revealing that internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum-selling, award-winning singer and songwriter LeAnn Rimes is now part of The Voice Australia family.

As is Adam Lambert, known for shooting to fame after coming second on American Idol way back in 2009. He’s since become a GRAMMY-nominated artist, actor, philanthropist, and LGBTQ+ activist.

Last but not least, Aussie music icon Kate Miller-Heidke is claiming one of the red spinning chairs. Honestly, this is SO epic.

What have the new The Voice Australia coaches said about their new gig?

In a statement, LeAnn, the hitmaker behind the absolute bop Can’t Fight the Moonlight, said she’s “incredibly honoured and excited” to be a coach on The Voice.

“This special chance to mentor and discover new voices throughout Australia is a reflection of the love and support I’ve received from my Australian fans throughout my career,” she admitted.

“I look forward to returning the love, sharing my experiences, and hearing fresh, promising talent.”

Meanwhile, Adam said viewers can “expect some killer song selections, fashion fashion fashion, and of course, a win for Team Adam!” Big call!

Kate, who competed for Australia in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, revealed she’s keen to find “people with the soul of an artist”.

“The art and craft of singing has been at the centre of my life, and I feel like I have learned some things that might be of help to young or inexperienced performers,” she said.

The latest season of The Voice Australia goes into production in February and will air later in 2024.
