FBOY Island Australia host Abbie Chatfield has revealed that she’s going through a breakup after claiming she’d never speak about her partners publicly.

In the January 30 episode of her It’s A Lot podcast, the reality star admitted that her breakup with her most recent unnamed ex was hitting her hard.

“BREAK UP ERA!!!” she captioned an Instagram Reel of the podcast episode in question.

“Lol I know my rule is to not talk about anyone I’m dating but I had cried on the drive into the podcast that day so needed to vent. Listen wherever you get your pods about how this breakup is going!! (Not well).”

The video showed Abbie telling her producer Oscar Gordon that she’s “really sad”.

“A hot tip to anyone in life… don’t date anyone that you can look up interviews of them on YouTube,” Abbie said.

“Because what happens when you break up is you watch interviews of them in the background because you miss them. And you go ‘Ooo! Love that. Love that you are in my house in my head.’”

When asked how she was feeling, the 28-year-old admitted that she’d been “crying every day”.

“I’m also in the phase of the breakup where you’re like ‘Oh I’m never going to love anyone ever again’.

“This would be tolerable if I could call [them] all the time like I used to be able to but now I can’t,” she added.

FBOY Island‘s Abbie Chatfield says she hasn’t ‘CARED’ about a breakup in FIVE years

Abbie then spilled that she hasn’t “cared about a breakup properly in five years”.

“Sorry to anyone I’ve dated in the last five years, but I haven’t cried about a breakup or been missing someone this much in a very long time,” she laughed.

And if our math is correct, that’d mean the last breakup she cared about was her public split with Matt Agnew on The Bachelor Australia 2019 (sorry, Konrad Bień-Stephen!).

However, the podcast host then confessed that things might not be 100 per cent over with her most recent ex.

“It’s a thing where we might get back together, which is the worst kind of [breakup],” she said.

And we hope things work out for her!
