The Bachelor Australia 2015‘s Brittany Hockley has revealed how she’ll be managing her long-distance relationship with her Swiss footballer boyfriend, Ben Siegrist.
Brittany and Ben, who plays in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic, hard launched their relationship in January 2023. The reality star later confirmed they met on the VIP dating app Raya the previous November.
However, when a fan asked how the pair had been navigating their long-distance relo, Brittany took to social media in January to tell fans it was a “disaster”.
“Navigating isn’t really a word I’d use,” Brittany wrote over a Story re-shared by Influencer Updates AU. “Looks like we see each other only twice before Christmas, which is devastating.”
Another user asked the Life Uncut podcast host whether she’d chosen her career or a family with Ben.
“I hate that I have to decide,” the 36-year-old said. “I shouldn’t have to give up a career I love and have worked so hard for so that I can be happy personally and have a family.
“It’s 2024, I should be able to have a career and a family. I’m just trying to figure it all out and manage both.”

When it comes to travelling to see each other, Brittany revealed that the couple split the cost.
“It’s expensive but unavoidable if we want to see each other,” she penned. “You just have to prioritise it.
“We share the cost, and it’s only a few times a year. If we were travelling every month, I’d have to sell a kidney or something,” she joked.
She then shared a few hacks with her fans, including booking early, accumulating Qantas points and searching for flights in incognito mode.

Brittany says Ben ‘flew over’ to support her during her egg-freezing journey
Brittany also revealed that Ben flew over to support her during her fertility journey.
“For me, it’s been a wild ride… But I had some low moments that I didn’t speak about, which is why Ben flew over for just a few days to be with me the last time,” she shared of her egg-freezing experience.
“I’m so grateful that he did because I’m always going through it alone, which is really rough.
“This last time was the worst… not sure what I would’ve done if I were alone. So if you have people to help you, don’t be afraid to use them,” she finished.
