Reports have surfaced detailing the chaos behind the scenes of filming Australian Survivor 2024.
ICYMI: the hit adventure series is returning to the small screen in the new year with the epic theme of Titans vs Rebels.
Fans have high hopes for the new series — which is set in Samoa — but sources allege things were HECTIC from a production standpoint.
As reported in episode 336 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one Survivor insider said the latest season doesn’t live up to previous instalments.
“It’s not as good of a season as last year,” they told host Megan Pustetto. “They don’t have a George [Mladenov] and they don’t really have any strong characters or storylines.
“It’s failed to live up to expectations.”
On top of a dull cast, another production source said there is “big trouble in paradise” regarding staff behind the show.

“Crew members are quitting over toxic workplace and unsuitable living arrangements,” the insider explained.
“The hotel they are living in is under renovation so it’s basically a construction site. The pools have been ripped out, the food is unsanitary with many people falling ill.”
They continued: “Multiple producers and cameramen have quit and before filming, they found it hard to find people to work on the show because no producers from previous seasons wanted to work on the show because of the toxic culture.
The industry insider then claimed that the production company behind Australian Survivor, Endemol Shine, is “awful”.
“They pay less than every other production company,” it was revealed. “They’ve gone through multiple HR managers.”
Yikes! Maybe they should have captured the drama off-camera instead!?
