The Bachelors Australia 2023 fans have slammed Wesley Senna Cortes‘ stepmother Baby for saying that choosing Brea meant he was lowering his standards.
During the December 19 episode, it was time for the Bachelors and their chosen ladies to meet each other’s friends and families. And for Brea and Wesley, this was a total sh*tshow.
In case you hadn’t heard, Wesley came onto the show with very strict Christian values. However, he chose to send all his ladies home and focus on Brea, who doesn’t share these same values.
During a heated discussion with Baby, Brea explained that she was making HUGE compromises for Wesley (e.g. no sex before marriage). However, she didn’t feel he was making any compromises for her (e.g. sharing a bed).
In response, Baby basically said that Wesley was already “lowering his standards” by being with Brea, before making comments that were pretttty slut-shamey.
And fans took to Twitter to CALL HER out! Or, as Osher Günsberg joked: “Put Baby in a corner”!

Fans also went berserk at Wesley for failing to give an opinion and letting his stepmother speak on his behalf the entire time.
And honestly, he’s beginning to look like this season’s villain…

For the other Bachies, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman, things were a lil’ more on the snoozefest side.
However, the producers made each man meet BOTH of his ladies’ families AT THE SAME TIME! And we’re not sure if it’s giving evil mastermind or a budget crisis, but we’re here for it!
