We’ve got our hands on the REAL reason Nicole O’Neil skipped the Real Housewives of Sydney reunion and boy is it SPICY!
ICYMI: After rumours circulated that her absence meant she was LEAVING the show, Nicole told Yahoo! Lifestyle that she didn’t attend the reunion due to “family commitments” and that she’d defo be keen to return to the franchise for Season Three.
However, as revealed in episode 338 of the So Dramatic! podcast, there was another reason the OG Housewife ditched the reunion.
During a cast trip to Tokyo, Nicole and long-time bestie Terry Biviano had an explosive argument that altered the course of their friendship.
And according to an insider, Nicole wasn’t ready to “face the music”.
“Nicole knew Terry was going to call her out and come with receipts so she just avoided [the reunion altogether],” the source told So Dramatic!.
The insider also spilled that the cast only found out Nicole wouldn’t be attending the reunion when they rocked up to set. Ouch!
Did Real Housewives of Sydney‘s Nicole O’Neil REALLY have family commitments?
Nicole told Yahoo! Lifestyle that she wasn’t present at the reunion because she only got two weeks’ notice and already had family commitments that day.
So Dramatic! understands that the family commitment was her daughter’s formal.
However, according to our sources, the reunion was filmed at 9 am the day after the formal took place the night before. So the math isn’t mathing over here!
RHOS’ Nicole has ‘SHOPPED her story to media outlets’
Our insiders also spilled that Nicole has been trying to control her narrative by speaking to various media outlets.
“After not turning up to the reunion, Nicole became worried that she wasn’t going to have a voice and that the other women were going to have free reign of the narrative without being able to defend herself.
“But she still didn’t want to attend,” one source spilled. “So she started shopping her story around to media outlets.”
Hmm. Sounds like someone’s watching their back…
