Grab the tissues because we’ve just discovered one of our favourite My Mum Your Dad Australia couples has called it quits.
The second season of the dating experiment recently wrapped up on Channel Nine, which had us thinking — what happened to Kristy Woodruff and Shane Smith from My Mum Your Dad 2022?
ICYMI; The pair were the only lasting couple from their season, brought together by their respective daughters, Milli and Kayla.
However, as reported in episode 334 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one spy recently spotted Shane on the dating app Hinge!
Not typical behaviour for a man in a relationship, non?
As such, we got in touch with his daughter Kayla to ask WTF is going on, and she confirmed her dad and Kristy are no longer together.
“They have split,” she confessed. “The travel was too much so they decided to stay friends.”
#Devo! We thought these two were end game, especially as fans were convinced they’d secretly got engaged following the show.
As it stands, My Mum Your Dad doesn’t have the greatest track record of forging successful relationships.
The only couple to still be together are Dani Lyons and Wes Milson, who met during the 2023 season.
