The Bachelors Australia 2023 contestant Anastasia Iliopoulos has revealed why she and notorious The Block bidder Adrian Portelli called off their engagement in late 2022.
In August, it was revealed that Anastasia is appearing in the new season of The Bachelors, which is set to premiere on December 3.
The mother-of-one was previously in a two-year relationship with Adrian (A.K.A “Mr Lambo”) before their split in December 2022.

While Adrian boasts his lavish lifestyle on social media — think luxury cars, holidays, events and plenty of Block houses — Anastasia told the Herald Sun their relationship “was a lot of work and not a lot of play”.
“We woke up, we made breakfast, we worked all day, we worked all night then we went to bed,” the property developer confessed.
“It was not as extravagant as it looks. We were just the same old west side people we grew up as. It did not seem like the high life when you were in it.”
The Bachelors 2023‘s Anastasia Iliopoulos said her and Adrian Portelli’s ‘values did not align’
When asked whether she was heartbroken when they split, Anastasia said she was more “disappointed”.
“We are still mates, he is great at what he does. He is with someone new and I respect that. That is in my past now, it is not my future,” she confessed.
“For me, our values did not particularly align, there were certain things that he wanted that I was not willing to do, and that does not make him a bad person, it just makes us different in what we want out of love.”
Adrian is dating Karlie Butler, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child.

In its second season in 2023, The Bachelors will feature three leads again: Ben Waddell, Wesley Senna Cortes and Luke Bateman.
A Channel 10 spy has dished to news outlets that Anastasia will not only get up close and personal with model Ben, but she is one of his finalists.
Sounds like love (and a blue tick) really does prevail!
