I’m A Celebrity fave makes her bid to become the next Bachelorette and this would be an EPIC revival

Serial reality star Alli Simpson has revealed she wants to be the next star of The Bachelorette Australia, and we are SO here for this!

The 25-year-old has already appeared on The Masked Singer, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and, most recently, The Amazing Race, building herself quite the reality TV resume.

Now, she’s confessed she’d like to front Ten’s famed dating series and bring it out of its current hiatus.

“I would be so down for [The Bachelorette],” Alli told Yahoo! Lifestyle. “I would love to do that.”

Referencing her more adventurous TV gigs, she said the potential of a “glamourous” role is certainly appealing.

“I’ve done all these crazy shows, I’m like, can’t I do something a little bit more glamorous next time? On I’m A Celebrity and Amazing Race I’m looking like sh*t and I have no makeup,” Alli expressed.

“Wouldn’t it be nice to do a glamorous show like The Bachelorette or a dating show? Something fun and flirty to switch things up.”

At the beginning of The Amazing Race 2023, Alli revealed that she and her co-star, Too Hot To Handle‘s Harry Jowsey, had “exchanged a few DMs over the last few years”.

However, while an Amazing Race romance would be EPIC, Alli said the competitive environment was a no-go for forming connections.

“You’re so in the zone that you don’t even care about what you look like or what you say to other people, you just want to race and you want to win,” she told Yahoo! Lifestyle.

And fair point!

Following Brooke Blurton‘s season of The Bachelorette in 2021, the series was put on indefinite hiatus due to poor ratings.

However, we’ve copped several dismal seasons of The Bachelor, including a SECOND multi-lead instalment set to air on December 3.
