SAS Australia 2023 fans are suspicious after actress Zima Anderson was medically withdrawn from the show after suffering a seemingly life-threatening fall.

During the October 24 episode, the 25-year-old was tasked with jumping off a ledge into the water.

However, in a moment that wasn’t shown onscreen, she “took a fall”, as per the SAS voiceover.

Whilst a sobbing Zima was put into a neck brace by the medical team, fans noticed that there were visible wounds visible on the reality star, despite the voice-over claiming she’d sustained a fracture to her elbow and wrist.

Viewers took to social media to question the incident, with many admitting that something didn’t “seem right” about the fall.

People were also confused about why Zima wasn’t wet, considering she “fell” whilst above the water.

SAS Australia‘s Zima Anderson addresses her accident

On October 24, Zima took to Instagram to address her on-screen incident and thank the SAS crew for their support.

“I couldn’t be more grateful to have heard the stories of and been bossed around by these legends,” she wrote in the captions.

She also thanked the doctors and crew members for “being by [her] hospital bed in Jordan through some tough nights” and for pushing her around in her wheelchair.

“And thank GOD I didn’t break my spine,” she finished, alongside a laughing emoji.

Fans immediately flocked to the comments section to ask her how her injuries weren’t much worse considering the height of her fall.

“It was so very lucky. We were all shocked at how I didn’t injure myself more! The hospital started calling me bouncy ball,” Zima responded.

And hey, we’re still confused, but case closed. For now.
