A Married at First Sight Australia 2024 groom has pulled the “Do you know who I am?” card in an attempt to bag a free meal and we’re dying of secondhand embarrassment.

Although the upcoming season of the marriage experiment isn’t airing until next year, one yet-to-be-named groom tried to leverage their Z-list status to score a complimentary meal at Sydney’s Coogee Pavilion, reports Daily Mail.

However, it seemed his charm didn’t work because he was rejected! LOL! And it looks like Harrison Boon‘s getting a run for his money!

One insider told Daily Mail that the mystery groom’s antics were “cringeworthy to watch”.

“It was really embarrassing,” they dished. “The audacity of asking for a table, boasting about their upcoming MAFS stint, thinking it would get them a free pass.”

The menace then threatened to take his offer elsewhere, but the restaurant didn’t budge.

”Coogee Pav does not do free meals for influencers and they definitely won’t for a MAFS star,” the source explained.

And honestly, this is more cringe than Ella Ding‘s fake proposal!

This comes after it was reported that MAFS 2024 will feature the “worst-behaved” cast to date. Bring it on!
